Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel (born on December 2 on the 2nd of December, 1968), is an American actress. Her roles include daytime TV and guest performances on episodic basis and movies made for TV. Sofer was given an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap show General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 until 2022.
Early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) Professor of Psychology, and Martin Sofer, an Orthodox Rabbi.
Sofer moved with her brother David as well as her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in the year 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. They resided in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She was a student at the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer resided in North Bergen, New Jersey in the town where her father was Rabbi of the synagogue Temple Beth El. Sofer graduated from North Bergen High School and later went to Montclair State College.
Career
Daytime television
Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played with on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993, as a manager for a band. She first appeared in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap drama Loving.
